Benefits of the Righteous

Here are some benefits of being the Righteousness of God: 

The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree… Psalm 92:12  ~ You will flourish!

… The righteous shall be delivered.  Proverbs 11:21 ~ You are free!

In The Right Place

In righteousness shalt thou be established… Isaiah 54:14

To be established in righteousness means to be in a right place with God. It means you can stand in the presence of a Holy, Powerful, Loving God without any guilty feeling. 

Wake Up

Awake to righteousness, and sin not… 1 Corinthians 15:34

According to the Bible, the power of sin and death has been beaten in your life (Romans 8:2). You are no longer ruled by the forces of evil, but by God Himself.  

It’s Not Because of Anything You’ve Done

For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.  2 Corinthians 5:21

You are righteousness. 

You are a joint heir with Jesus (Romans 8:17).  

The Past Is Forgotten

This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.  Hebrews 10:16-17

When Jesus died on the cross He completely did away with your sins. 

Righteousness, Peace & Joy in the Holy Ghost

For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.  Romans 14:17

How do you live in joy? Think about God’s promises to you. When you remember 

God’s promises you will get excited about all the things He has planned for you.

One way to live in joy is to spend time with the Holy Spirit. Start with thanksgiving and praise for all He’s done for you. Joy will rise up within you. If you’re having problems at school, home or work, connect with the Holy Spirit. There is joy in the Holy Spirit.   

When you’re filled with God’s strength nothing can stop you.  Live in His joy today and watch the problems disappear.
