Evidence

But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. Luke 8:15

As believers we are to put the Word of God inside of us. As the Word grows on the inside we begin to have “fruit” or evidence of that transforming Word in our lives. While we are growing and maturing in areas we will have need of patience so we will continue in the Word at all times. 

You may be using the WORD to renew an area in your mind… for example in the area of your mouth… and as you really begin to understand the importance of those life or death words coming out of you mouth you will need patience to believe that what you are learning is growing on the inside of you. You may make a mistake, you may have some sarcasm, you may tell a lie… but as you keep renewing your mind and DO NOT GIVE UP on the WORD you WILL see the evidence or “fruit” of that truth in your life.
