Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompense of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. Hebrews 10:35-36
This verse says that we have NEED of patience.
Why do we need it? We need Patience because as we begin to understand who we are In Christ and begin to understand his promises we may be tempted to want it working RIGHT NOW.
However there is a process for God’s promises to work in our lives. Faith and patience work together to see God’s promises work in your life. It takes Faith to believe, then it takes renewing your mind to the truth and then it takes Patience or endurance to walk that out in your life with out giving up.
Gods Promises are not always agreeing with natural ways of doing things. It may seem quicker to take a natural shortcut but it takes Patience to see God’s promise develop lasting fruit in your life.
It IS worth it.
