When Everything Is Changing...

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever.  Isaiah 40:8
Everything in life changes, but God’s Word is always the same.  The Bible is true even when everything else around you is telling you different.  God doesn’t change His mind; there is no weakness or shortcoming in what He says.  Psalm 89:34 tells us that God will not break His word and that He will not change what he has said.  God’s Word always does exactly what it promises.

Today's Thought: Remember all the promises God has already fulfilled in your life, He's not going to stop now! He Loves You!!!

Facts Are Subject To Truth

…Your word is truth.  John 17:17

For the word of the Lord is right; and all his works are done in truth.  Psalm 33:4

Today’s verse doesn’t say, “God’s Word is fact.”  Truth goes beyond facts.  Truth is an absolute.  Truth doesn’t give in. Truth doesn’t change.  Facts are subject to Truth.

Hold onto the promises God has given you in His Word; they will be the final say in your situation.  If it’s God’s Word about healing, you will be healed.  If it’s His Word about financial success, you’ll be financially successful.  If it’s His Word about rescuing, you’ll be rescued.  God’s Word brings results.  No circumstance can stop God’s Word.  God’s Word is truth.

Today's Thought: What promises has God given you?

God's Word Works!

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:  So shall my (God’s) word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.  Isaiah 55:10-11

It’s God’s Word that does the work.  God’s Word will work for anyone.  It will work for you just like it worked for Jesus when He walked the earth.  When God’s Word is spoken it doesn’t come back empty.  It accomplishes what God desires and it achieves the purpose for which it was sent.

Today's Thought: Find a promise in God’s Word about your healing, safety, finances, grades or work.  Refuse to let go of God’s promise to you from His Word.  Let God’s Word fight its own fight.  God’s Word will win every time!

You Can Depend On It!

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?”  Numbers 23:19

“For I am the Lord, I change not...” Malachi 3:6

The way the world does things is unreliable and unstable.  We see this desperation and uncertainty crying out through radio, TV and the news; everything seems to be out of control.  But there’s good news!  As Christians we have something we can depend on: the unchanging Word of God!

God doesn’t talk out of both sides of His mouth.  He doesn’t say one thing today and something totally different tomorrow.  He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8).  When God’s Word is the final say in your life, you will have a solid place to stand.  Circumstances can’t change the Word of God.  But the Word of God will change the circumstances, because the Word has power in it.

Today's Thought: What circumstances in your life have been changed by God's Word?
