But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him (the man who was robbed and beaten), he had compassion on him, and went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. Do you remember the story of the Good Samaritan? (If not you may want to go to Luke 10:30-37 and read the story.) In a nutshell, the Good Samaritan did something about a bad situation. He went out of his way to make things better. He showed God’s love and goodness to a complete stranger! Is there someone around you who’s going through a rough situation? Find something you can do to help them.
